WHAT IS A COSMETIC TATTOO?
Cosmetic tattoos(permanent makeup or PMU) involve a micro-pigmentation being implanted in to the skin, either by hand tool or machine. The achieved look will resemble makeup or a beautiful, defined brow.

WHAT'S ARE MICROSHADED BROWS?
Powder/Ombre brows: Ombre Brows are a semi-permanent powdered brow  for clients who prefer fuller results than hair strokes but still very soft and fluffy. This procedure gives the perfect makeup affect starting lighter at the beginning of the brow fading darker and more crisp toward the tail. 

IS IT PAINFUL?
Although pain is subjective to each person's tolerance, You will go through a double numbing process to minimize this. One of the main goals as a PMU artist is to keep you comfortable.

WILL MY PROCEDURE BE PERFORMED WITH A TATTOO GUN?
Cosmetic tattoos may be performed with a tattoo gun or PMU gun, but PMU artists use a much smaller needle than tattoo artists because we do not go as deep in to the skin. 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
Your full appointment time will total 3 hours. The actual tattooing procedure will total 1 hour.

WHY IS MY APPOINTMENT SO LONG?
Permanent makeup is a luxury service and an investment!  Your consult is built in to your appointment and In order to provide you with the best service possible and keep you comfortable, there are a few things outside of your  tattooing that must be accomplished first.
 
IS PERMANENT MAKEUP REALLY PERMANENT?
Cosmetic tattoos are considered permanent because they enter the dermal layer of the skin and cannot be washed off. However, as with any tattoo or pigment in the skin, fading will occur - requiring periodic maintenance. 

HOW LONG WILL MY BROWS LAST?
Results will last 1-3 years.
Skin type, lifestyle and client aftercare will all play a role in long term results. 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL? ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
You will not reach your final result until 6 weeks post procedure. Throughout this time you will see variations in the overall color - going through a light phase and a dark phase. Skin peeling and scabbing will occur and itchiness may be experienced.

ARE THERE ANY RISKS INVOLVED WITH COSMETIC TATTOOS?
Like all tattoos, there are some minor risks associated with this procedure. PMU artists do not penetrate the skin as deep as tattoo artists, in turn creating less trauma, but there are still small incisions being made in the skin. The procedure is performed under sterile conditions, using new, disposable blades/needle cartridges for each client.  It is vital to make sure you are receiving your service from a licensed professional.

CAN I KEEP MY BROW HAIR?
Yes. Before your procedure we will map out your brow shape and any unwanted hairs outside of the new brow look will be removed.

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE BROW SHAPE AND COLOR?
Brows are not a one style fits all - at appointment time we will map out your customized shape based off facial structure preference and symmetry. 
Color is selected based off your natural skin tone and undertones - We have a wide range of pigments to create your perfect shade.

I HAD A COSMETIC TATTOO DONE ELSEWHERE AND WAS NOT SATISFIED, CAN YOU FIX THIS?
I currently do not offer any correction services.
Any appointment booked with previous undisclosed work done will be cancelled upon arrival and charged for the entire appointment.

WILL MY EYEBROWS BE REALLY DARK?
No. Immediately after your procedure your brows may appear a bit darker than what you'd like - This is because additional pigment is layered in to the skin to compensate for the natural fading that occurs during your 6 week healing process. 

WHAT IF I NO LONGER HAVE ANY EYEBROW HAIR OR VERY LITTLE?
If you have Little to no brow hair this is the perfect service for you

DO THE PIGMENTS POSE ANY ALLERGY PROBLEMS?
I use a vegan pigment line that is non toxic and cruelty free. still, if you tend to have allergic reactions to makeup or easily react to many things, this service is not ideal for you

IS THERE ANY DOWN TIME ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROCEDURE?
There is no downtime, but there are some activities you'll be instructed to avoid for at least 10 days after your appointment.

WILL I NEED A FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT?
A touch up appointment is recommended but optional in 6-15 weeks after initial procedure to achieve maximum results.
Following proper aftercare, your brows will last 1-3 years, with yearly touch-ups  recommended for a good color boost.
